Welcome to my second Holiday Home Tour! I can’t believe that Christmas is in 9 days!!! This year, I went with a vintage theme, decking the halls in traditional red and white.
Please come in and take a look around.
A citrus wreath and homemade orange slice garland greet you at the front door. As you walk into the entry, the smell of fresh pine welcomes you.
A medley of handmade grain sack stockings adorns the stairway that leads to the second floor with a home gym, and a second living room. I like to call this room my “marshmallow room”, a fun space for me to create and relax.
As you pass through the entry, into the sitting room you are greeted by three jolly Santas that sit atop a black hutch filled with vintage ironstone, Debbiee Thibault Santas, and mercury glass.
Guest are also greeted by the first of three trees. The “childhood tree” is decorated with favorite ornaments from our childhood. The white chair is a favorite spot to sit and reminisce.
A tray of fresh fruit, the traditional gumdrop tree, cookies for Santa, and homemade gingerbread ornaments are some of the holiday goodies you will find in the kitchen.
In the dining room, the black farmhouse table is set with a vintage grain sack runner and an old dough bowl filled with three miniature trees.
The view from the kitchen and dining room overlooks into the cozy living room.
Christmas shines brightly in the living room, where a nature tree studded with orange slices and friendly animals sits in front of the living room window.
The mantle is draped in traditional Christmas colors and fun vintage finds. Old sock stretchers are used as stockings.
The built-in bookshelf is filled with cherished family keepsakes, vintage books, and a jolly Santa collection.
All of the bedrooms are decorated for the holidays, each room has a different theme. My favorite is the room with the Zebra tree.
